Greek born in Austria, Evily Ailianou grew up in Greece, France and Egypt, studied Foreign Civilisations and Comparative Literature in Paris, graduated in interpretation in London, and lived in Brussels for 25 years. She is a professional conference interpreter in the French booth and works mainly for the European institutions. Alongside her professional career, she devotes most of her free time to her artistic creations.
Her work includes book illustrations, greeting cards and the decoration of furniture and objects.
She uses and experiments with a wide range of techniques in a constant search to express her creativity. What interests her most is the aesthetics and harmony of the result.
